NetSuite Consultant (Automated Reporting)

Overview:

We’re working with a client who has recently implemented the Advanced Materials module in NetSuite. While they have internal functional support, they now need a specialist to assist with advanced reporting and light automation on a short-term basis.

This role is ideal for a functional NetSuite expert who’s comfortable building reports and streamlining reporting processes — with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and automate cash-basis financial reports for vendor-related use cases

• Develop basic project reporting capabilities (e.g., job tracking, cost summaries)

• Create and refine saved searches and custom reports in NetSuite

• Set up scheduled reports and support light process automation (e.g., workflows)

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs

• Provide hands-on support with NetSuite reporting best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with NetSuite saved searches, custom reports, and dashboards

• Understanding of cash-basis vs. accrual reporting in NetSuite

• Experience with project reporting and tracking within NetSuite

• Comfortable with light automation (e.g., workflows, formula fields, scheduled reports)

• Functional NetSuite knowledge — development/SuiteScript not required

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business users

Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to the Advanced Materials module in NetSuite

• Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics or basic scripting concepts
